We can say that AI is a revolution. Similarly, like the Industrial Revolution, it suddenly started to operate in many fields. I am not a conspiracy theorist! I am an entrepreneur and I have simple a thought.
Day by day, we see content created with artificial intelligence. This will increase even more. The problem is that even if you have a master’s degree, you will do the easiest thing you know. You will not make complex sentences when creating content with artificial intelligence.
I know this because we all use search engines. When using these tools, we try to find the result by typing as few words as possible. Less is of course good. But when it comes to artificial intelligence, you have to think!
Someone opens a YouTube channel and creates and shares history content with artificial intelligence. This is just one example. And this channel is watched. But each time this is explained in easier sentences.
I’m thinking… Does not forming complex words and sentences make people stupid?
I know that educated people, that is, people who use complex words and sentences, are a minority mass of around 2%-3%. (I am speaking hypothetically.) But as our consumption habits will change, I wonder if our perception habits will change.
We have difficulty perceiving the world because we may not be able to express ourselves well. I experience this a lot and I think it will happen more and more. They confuse debate with discussion and discussion with fighting. They see debate and discussion as a fight. But it is not!
They confuse fear with excitement because they do not know the exact meaning of these words. In a situation where they are excited, they may give up that action thinking that they are afraid. I have often seen this in unconscious sportsmen.
The reason why they are confused or don’t know words like fear and excitement is that they don’t know the meaning of those words. They don’t know because they learned the word from their parents. Like the smart kids in Malcolm Gladwell’s The Originals don’t know it.
Everyone learns from their environment. Everyone will learn content produced with artificial intelligence. Those contents will reduce the parameters of perceiving the world away from complex words and sentences. So we may see more depressed people! People may become more stupid!
Of course, this is all just an opinion. There are no certainties! It may or may not happen. I may be wrong or have seen the future like a prophet. Maybe it’s a stupid idea. Time will tell.
